1215 Steel Machining
Steel 1215 Machined Parts
Sunhy has a reputation for machining quality parts from 1215 Steel. We can machine intricate parts on our CNC Swiss machines and CNC turning centers.
Steel alloy 1215 is a popular free-machining alloy (FMA), ideal for parts that require considerable machining and a bright finish. It responds well to slight bending, threading, and nibbing, but is not ideal for parts that may be subject to very severe fatigue stress.
1215 has a machining cost factor of 1.2 when compared to steel 12L14. It possesses better weldability and formability than 12L14. 1215 can be heat treated.
